Playing golf is a fun sport, (so is driving golf carts) if you know what to do and how to play. One thing that makes golf so difficult to play is because you have to match the clubs to you. There are a wide variety of clubs to choose from and it does not get any easier because you have to get the correct length and something that feels good when you swing the golf club. There is a way to determine the right club for you because you don’t want a club that is too long or too short for your swing. Here are some suggestions that might help you out when you are choosing the clubs you are going to be playing with.

One thing that you have to think about is how long the clubs are. If you are swinging the club and it takes out a chunk of sod before it actually hits the ball, you are bent over too far to hit the ball or the club is too long for you. Making holes in the turf is not a good thing because you can bend your club and the golf course attendant does not like fixing all the marks in the turf. If you are paying good money for a set of clubs, you don’t want them to keep hitting the turf, you are just throwing money down the drain.

The same goes for a club that is too short for you. You can be swinging for the fences and not even hit the ball. Unfortunately, in the game of golf, each swing counts and the more you swing the higher your score goes. This is not a good thing so you want to make sure the clubs fit you.

When you purchase brand new clubs, there is an assistant that can help you to find the right length of club that you need. They can take a measurement and be able to direct you to the perfect golf clubs that will fit you. If you purchase your clubs new, they can even make them custom so they are only your clubs and will fit to a tee.
